Yan Wang completed his Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from University of Toronto, Canada in 2016. He joined the Stajich group in February 2017 working on two NSF funded projects: ZyGoLife (Zygomycetes) and AGF (Neocallimastigomycota).
